Hey, I’m Jeff.

I started out as a cable tech, pulling and terminating network and voice cable. From there, I moved into PBX and key systems, then into VoIP, and over time deeper into networking, infrastructure, and automation.

A lot of what I’ve learned came from working through things hands-on, figuring out how systems fit together, solving problems, and constantly learning the next layer up. What started with the physical side of connectivity eventually turned into a bigger interest in design, operations, repeatability, and building better ways to do things.

That mindset is a big part of what pulled me into automation. I’ve always been the kind of person who is willing to put in more effort up front if it means making something easier, cleaner, and more repeatable later. I like building things that make sense and hold up over time.

This blog isn’t just about automation, though. That will definitely be part of it, but I also wanted a place to write about other things that interest me: technology, ideas, lessons learned, things I’m building, and sometimes just random topics that I think are worth sharing.

So this is really a place for all of that.

Some posts will be technical. Some will be personal. Some may just be me thinking out loud. But overall, this is just a space to share experience, curiosity, and whatever happens to be worth writing about at the time.

Thanks for stopping by.
